Born in Buenos Aires Argentina of Syrian and Scottish descent, Valeria McCulloch spent her adolescence in Caracas Venezuela, where an American style education lead her to attend Savannah College of Art and Design.
Upon graduation with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History, she moved to New York City, where she broadened her education with a post graduate degree in Fashion Marketing at Parsons School of Design.
Prior to graduation she started to intern at the recently launched Marc Jacobs brand. After six years at the brand and leading the growing success of the Marc by Marc Jacobs shoe department, designing the iconic mouse shoe among many others, she continued her designing journey at other American, Asian and Australian companies lending her creative eye and experience as a freelance designer under her company which she called VALBLU.
Today VALBLU represents a design and creation company that reflects through the use of this vibrant blue hue, Valeria’s artistic self expression, pushing boundaries, and her passion for the creative arts.
