SHOES IN CAB / APRIL 2013

Last year thanks to the help of a good friend in the Italian Tuscan hills, I made a paper sketch turn into a real shoe under the label  VALBLU. These shoes are inspired by the skies star constellations, they are asymmetrical, where the left and the right shoes are different but there is a common theme that runs through them, why not right? So fun!

SHOES IN CAB / FEBRUARY 2012

I went to interview at the Zara headquarters in south of Spain and when I came back to New York, I went to Zara and purchased these wedges in this fab blue suede, and decided to paint the city skyline on the wedge with a metallic silver pen! People stop me in the street to ask me where I got these and I feel honored to tell them that I got the shoe at Zara but that I painted the skyline details on the wedge. So fun!

These fun wedge lace up booties where designed for the Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2006 runway, originally they were white suede, I painted them by hand with various sharpie markers, the result, vibrant blue hue. So fun!
